Description:
UCO-Ethics is a student chapter of the professional organization, the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OkEthics). The Consortium has four student chapters throughout the state of Oklahoma –Langston University, Oklahoma City University, University of Central Oklahoma, and University of Tulsa. Chapters at Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma are still being organized.
Mission Statement:
UCO-Ethics strives to educate students to develop strong character and integrity by demonstrating dependability, courage, honor, and respect for self and others in the workplace. UCO-Ethics encourages students to continually strengthen their ethical decision-making abilities as they enter into the work environment by taking the initiative to encourage and promote ethical behavior with the sharing of ideas and resources.
Purpose:
UCO-Ethics promotes character and integrity through education about ethical issues in today’s environment.
