Students interested in the American Politics field should plan their

The Political Science Department offers a number of courses related
to American Politics. Any of those listed below can be taken to fulfill
the guided elective requirement for the American Politics field. Other

The department encourages you to select courses in related areas with the
remainder of the elective hours you have. Courses selected should support
the objectives of a Liberal Arts Education and of the B.A. in Political
Science. You are encouraged to consider courses from such disciplines as
History, Economics, the Humanities, English, Philosophy, and Geography.
