Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college students of political science and government in the United States.

UCO Pi Sigma Alpha applications due by February 28, 2008

Chapter of the Year:  For the third year in a row (!), the UCO Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha has won a Best Chapter Award among large universities!

National Sponsor of the Year:  Our own Dr. Jan Hardt has won the 2005 Student Sponsor of the Year Award for her work and devotion to the UCO Pi Sigma Alpha Chapter.  Congratulations Dr. Hardt!  The award comes with a $1,000 check which she has generously donated to the UCO Foundation to establish a scholarship program for UCO students in Pi Sigma Alpha.

Sponsor of the Year:  Our own Dr. Jan Hardt has won the 2005 Student Organization Sponsor of the Year Award for her work and devotion to the UCO Pi Sigma Alpha Chapter.  Congratulations Dr. Hardt!

Paper Award Competition 2004-2005:  The Sigma Mu Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at UCO announces the results for the first paper competition:

    Undergraduate

    First Place -- Nate Raddatz
    Second Place -- Joy Nance
    Third Place -- Jeanette Nance

    Graduate
    First Place -- Kimberley McCoy
    Second Place -- Jennifer Brock
    Third Place -- Lauree Beth Stedje

First places received $100, Second places received $75, and Third places received $50.  Congratulations to all six students!  These winners will be honored on Sunday 24th at 3:00 in Pegasus Theatre.
