Dr. Husam Mohamad

 


Husam Mohamad is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Central Oklahoma. (UCO). Dr. Mohamad earned a B.A. degree in Middle Eastern Studies from BirZeit University (West Bank) in 1985, an M.A. in 1989 and a Ph.D. in 1994 in Political Science  from the  University of Cincinnati . He also completed 60 graduate credit hours in Philosophy from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining UCO in 1999, Husam taught at the Department of International Relations at Eastern Mediterranean University, (Cyprus), the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University . He also taught introductory courses (Summer 2001-2007) at the Junior Statesmen Summer School at Stanford University and Princeton University.  In 2007-2008, Dr. Mohamad was a Fulbright Scholar at the International Affairs Program at Qatar University.
