Getting a
Political Science Degree
General Advice About Your UCO Degree
All incoming students must check in with UCO’s Academic
Advisement Office. You will have a 'hold' on you Banner
account until you do! This Office guides you in choosing courses
that fulfill your core curriculum requirements. This Office also
provides you with "degree checks" to confirm your degree
progress—sophomore, junior, or senior. When you are ready to
graduate, this office issues a "Degree Certification" that
allows you to matriculate. It is the UCO Academic Advisement
Office, and not the Political Science Department, that
officially certifies you to graduate.
