Pi Sigma Alpha logo Great news for the UCO chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honorary society.  Dr. Jan Hardt has been selected to receive the Best Chapter Advisor award for 2005 by the national organization.  She was recently awarded a Best Chapter Sponsor of the Year by the university as well.

In addition, the Sigma Mu Chapter (here at UCO) was once again awarded Pi Sigma Alpha's Best Chapter Award for 2005.  The award comes complete with $250 and a certificate.

UCO Political Science alumnus Rhonda Rudd is about to graduate from Oklahoma City University School of Law and is running for State Senate District 46.
   
  Laura Halstied, graduating this semester with a Master of Arts in Political Science, has been accepted into the Oklahoma City University School of Law.
