We, the students of the University of Central Oklahoma Pre-Law Society,
who are interested in further fostering and enhancing interests and activities
relative to the legal profession do hereby form and constitute this organization.
Besides just taking the LSAT, candidates are strongly encouraged to obtain information about the Law schools to which they plan on applying. Two good sources for obtaining information about Law Schools is the Princeton Review Law Site, and Yahoo!, which has a listing of most law schools that have a web site on the internet.
FinAid
This web site has just about everything you ever wanted to know
about student loans, grants, and scholarships.
FastWeb
This web site is good for searching for available grants and scholarships
that a student can apply for. The student goes through and fills out some
information (This takes about 20-30 mins) and then the data base searches
for those scholarships you may be eligible for. In addition this site gives
you a mailbox, and as more scholarships become available it will update
your eligibility list.
SRN Express
This is another web site for searching for scholarships. Although
it is not put together as well as FastWeb, it still can provide students
with additional scholarships that Fastweb may not pick up on.
Happy hunting to you.......
