located in Viareggio, Tuscany, Italy, at the seaside).

 

Brush up your German!

The Goethe-Institut is offering teachers of German and university TA's

(teaching assistants) in German an opportunity to improve and hone their

German language skills with a 4-week language course stipend from now

through January 2008.

Courses are offered at various institutes in Germany. Stipends include

all course fees, lodging and per diem costs; airfare and travel costs

not included. Registration should be completed as soon as possible.

Employed teachers of German need only fill out the application form;

university (graduate-level) TA's in German must also submit a letter of

recommendation from a professor or counsellor in the department.
