ON-LINE COURSES

On-Line Spanish

Enrollment in Closed Web Sections:

Thank you for your interest in our on-line language courses. The demand for these courses is high and all sections fill quickly as you undoubtedly have discovered. Unfortunately, we cannot grant permission to enroll in closed sections because we are unable to support overload enrollment in any of the on-line sections.

If you hope to find a seat in one of the sections, you will need to monitor enrollment often (i.e., try to enroll and see if there’s a seat) and hope for an opening in one of the sections. Please do not e-mail instructors or the MLLCS office requesting permission to enroll in closed on-line sections as instructors will not give permission and cannot respond to all the individual requests for permission that they receive. In addition, please note that there is also no wait list for these sections.

In the event that you cannot enroll in one of the web courses, on-campus M-R sections are offered every hour from 9 am through 4 pm and several MW or TR sections are offered at 5:30 and 7:30, so there is sure to be something to fit your scheduling needs.

If those options truly don’t work for you, UCO also offers Elementary Spanish I, SPAN1114, through correspondence study. Call 974-2393, e-mail lmask@ucok.edu, or visit the UCO main page quick links or the MLLCS web page link for more information.

Remember that if you have a year or more of prior study of Spanish, you may be able to earn credit for 1114 through testing.
