The UCO Medieval Society would like to encourage members to acquire the appropriate garb for events we will be participating in including the Norman Medieval Fair. We must be "accurately" attired in order to participate.  Please consult with club officers when you have your garb decided upon but before making a cash commitment!  We want to have the correct fabrics and styles.  A Halloween costume from a pattern book is not what we're going for!  Historical research and accuracy are the goals for our garb.

On September 9, 2001, the UCO Medieval Society presented their Trebuchet as a part of UCO's Research Day.

During the Spring 2001 Norman Medieval Fair the Medieval Society demonstrated a half scale Trebuchet, based upon the topic Medieval Siege Warfare, 12th--14th Century.   This research was also submitted as a part of the Liberal Arts Symposium.  The Trebuchet was the class project for Dr. Stephen Law's Medieval Warfare class.

The Medieval Society  won "Best Presentation of Research in a Creative Format" at Symposium 2000.
