Xiao-Bing Li is an assistant professor
in the Department of History and Geography and associate director
of Western Pacific Institute at the University of Central Oklahoma.
He received his M.A. in 1985 and his Ph.D. in 1991 from Carnegie
Mellon University, Pittsburgh. As the director of Asian Studies,
he taught at Phillips University from 1991 to 1993. His book,
Diplomacy through Militancy, was published by China Education
Press in 1993. Dr. Li's second book, Chinese Generals Remember
the Korean War,
is under the consideration by
the University Press of Kansas. His
research interest is Sino-American relations history.
