1. Overall 2.75 GPA in

     (a) all college course work,

     (b) Professional Education, and

     (c) area of specialization (major)

 
2. Completion of HIST 3113 Historical Research - prerequisite for social studies methods  
3. 2.00 GPA in courses in English, Composition, Professional Education, and area of specialization (major)  
4. 2.75 GPA for Admission to Teacher Education  
5. Proficiency in foreign language at the level of a "novice". This degree of proficiency is met through either high school training or successful completion of three college credits in a foreign language.
