Thanks for your interest in Creative Studies, a division of UCO's English Department. We welcome inquiries from UCO students, interested adults in the community, future college students still in high school, retirees, and writers of all skill levels. Creative Studies has brought a number of visiting artists to UCO throughout the years, and its student organization, the Creative Studies Writers' Institute, holds readings and social events each semester.

The College of Liberal Arts and the English Department of the University of Central Oklahoma are pleased to announce the First Annual Everett Family Southwest Literary Award.  The first award of $5,000 will be given to an unpublished short story collection.  For more information, please visit the Everett Literary Award webpage.
