Jeff Cleek grew up in Guthrie and Oklahoma City, so when it came time to attend college, he ended up somewhere in between. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2002 and earned a BA in English. After living in Norman for a year, Jeff returned to UCO to begin working on a Master’s degree, which he completed in May 2006. In addition to teaching courses in composition and the humanities, he has published both creatively and professionally. When not in the classroom or working on “something that’s never been done in the history of teaching composition,” Jeff enjoys writing, hearing a good story, and convincing the world that comic books can be literary.
