Dale Knight, Program Specialist

Dale Knight first joined the UCO staff in October 1998 as Multimedia Technician for the College of Liberal Arts and was responsible for all Multimedia Center activities including copier and duplication services, Pegasus Theatre operations, and classroom multimedia delivery services.

Promoted to Director of Educational Technologies in January 2000, he coordinated all Student Technology Fee purchasing for classrooms and laboratories and served as supervisor for the college’s technical staff including the Laboratory Supervisor, Web Development Technician, Multimedia Technician and Documents processing clerk.

In 2006, Dale became the Program Specialist for the College of Liberal Arts and his primary responsibilities include coordinating all purchases for laboratory and classroom equipment and supplies, maintaining accounting records for course-based fee accounts, development and maintenance of our internal internet-based tracking system for purchasing requests, work orders, safety requests, all college inventories, and faculty and staff directories.

Mr. Knight provides purchasing information and specifications for departmental purchases and also serves as building captain for the Liberal Arts Building, and is responsible for ADA compliance and safety issues for the college.
